Dump Your Milk in the Potomac Event This is a media campaign to promote the "Anti-Dairy Coalition" and to further the agenda of those opposed to dairy products. The following documents contain a media strategy and publicity campaign for a staged rally in Washington DC designed to attract the media and promote the target group. The event and media plan was prepared by Mike Pereira as a case study for the Graduate School of Political Management, News Media lecture. A mock rally event was staged in April 2001 by GSPM students. The mock event was reported on by student journalists and evaluated by public relations professionals. This posting reflects the final report, taking into consideration feedback and tips learned from the staged media event. |
