In Washington DC, I worked for the Alliance for Retired Americans for about a year (October 2001 - September 2002) as part of my graduate school practical training at the GSPM

The Alliance for Retired Americans is a 3 million member activist organization which lobbies on behalf of American retirees in Washington DC. The Alliance is affiliated with the AFL-CIO and the American labor movement. At the Alliance, I worked as a researcher for the Legislative and Government Affairs Department. I also had the opportunity to attend and photograph many events staged in Washington DC.
