One year and a half after the events of September 11th 2001, the site of the World Trade Center in New York looks like a big construction zone. What makes it different from other construction projects are the countless memorials, flags, photos, and flowers that continue to adorn the perimeter of the site. The last photo in this section is a memorial to the victims of the WTC erected at the NY-NJ Port Authority terminal building. Note the Canadian flag next to the US flag, a commemoration of the Canadians who were killed that day, and a tribute to North American solidarity. Below the photos I have a link to my September 11th page for Washington DC.
