August, 1999 - Change of Service Provider. As I have Graduated from UWO, they deleted my Internet account. My new service provider is Rogers@Home. VERY FAST! The site was moved from http://publish.uwo.ca/~mpereira to http://members.home.com/cyberdrone
August 18, 1999 - Updates to all pages to reflect new address and Email change. Update to Resume to reflect over a year and a half's worth of changes. I removed the "pop-up" window from auto starting. Removed Real Media components for upgrading. Removed bulky sound files (.wav and .midi). Removed animated logo bar from main page and replaced it with a static banner for faster loading.

January 09, 2007 - Added "favicon.ico" to website. The Favicon is a small image that displays in the URL bar and in the bookmarks next to a link in place of the default IE or FireFox symbol.

August 05, 2007 - Looking back over the years, I have not updated my web page that often. I have been using the blog tool at Blogger to publish content from time to time but this website has not benefited from that. Well, I figured out how to syndicate a "feed" of content using RSS and I installed a new application called CaRP. It is a PHP based script that reads RSS and ATOM feeds and converts them into HTML for posting to a website. I have also subscribed to a service called FeedBurner to make creating the feed easier. The result of this work is the new blog.php pages! New feeds also include a NYT Movie Review, SlashDot, and Political Fake News. The home page was also modified to take down the opinion poll (which had about 20 entries in three years), and to promote the new changes.
November 18, 2007 - Upgraded CaRP to new paid version. It can now stream images and flies, including the ability to stream podcast media files! I've also installed a 10th anneversary banner and tribute page (10years.htm) on the website to mark the fact that this page has been up for 10 years! 1997-2007.
