For those of you with an itch to find out about me, here you go!

I'm Mike Pereira, a grad student at the George Washington University. I'm in the Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) program. I started graduate studies in January 2001. I'm living in the United States, Washington DC.

In 1998 I graduated from the University of Western Ontario, in London, Ontario, Canada.

I studied Political Science and French at Western.(The department of Political Science is located within the Faculty of Social Science, and the Department of French is located within the Faculty of Arts).

I've been involved with the University Student's Council at UWO, where I was the Internet Commissioner.

Durning and after my undergraduate career, I have worked in various capacities as a journalist and show host. On the Radio, I hosted a show on CHRW Radio, called Talk Radio. I've been with CHRW from 1996-2000, that's around 5 years. I also hosted "Talk Politics" on TV Western. I've written stuff for the London Free Press. I entered the mainstream International media with a job at Vatican Radio during the Jubilee of 2000.

In the community I worked with the London and Middlesex District Separate School Board, where I chaired the Communications Committee since 1997. I've been on the Committee since 1994.

My hobby is creating web pages. I've always been interested in computers, back since the days of the "BBS." I took computer courses throughout secondary school, but chose to pursue Politics/French in University. I'm a big Sci-Fi fan. Star Trek is one of my favourite Sci-Fi realms. I also like B5, Highlander, and the X-Files.

More Info - I'm 25 years old. I have family in the Provinces of Ontario, Quebec, and BC. I speak English, French, Portuguese, and some Italian. Other than London, I love the City of Montreal. Politically, it is safe to assume that I am a federalist. I am not a member of a political party, as I wish to maintain my journalistic nutrality. When I interview political players, I call the shots as I see them. A good idea is a good idea, regardless of its place on the political spectrum, a stupid idea is stupid one.

That's all for now.
